Hope you had a fabulous long weekend, even though we have been spoiled with our “winter” weather so far it sure is nice to have an extra day off in February!

My weekend had an extra shot of amazing thanks to Hip Hop Karaoke (it’s as amazing as it sounds), which happens monthly at A Gutsy Affair’s host bar, Revival!

This weekend marked the fifth anniversary of the raucous event, which meant the usual karaoke stars as well as A Tribe Called Quest’s Phife Dawg, Chip Fu from Fu-Schnickens and super amazing surprise guests Naughty by Nature! <– You’ll want to watch this video from Friday night!

Do yourself a favour and clear the third Friday of March to check out the next edition of Hip Hop Karaoke at Revival. I’ll be there taking in the awesome performances and deciding what song to sing later this year (2012 resolutions, anyone?)!
